Putting Lessons

Putting coaching has made huge developments through technology in recent years. When looking at technique Jonny will use Quintic Ball Roll and Capto to analyse and monitor changes made. Our approach to putter coaching is assessing each golfer as an individual as we are all different in our stroke tendencies. When looking at the best putters in the world they are exceptionally good at controlling their start line and speed. These key areas have to be consistent to be a great putter, but to control them you must have sound technique and understanding what controls this is crucial. Using the data captured we can make the necessary changes to build a consistent technique which performs and gives you control on the course. You can choose to learn on the green or in our state of the art putting lab.

Quintic Ball roll

Quintic Ball Roll Systems offer fast and accurate information for both the club and ball, without any attachments affecting either the club or the player!

Quintic Ball Roll utilises a high-speed camera (360 - 1080 frames per second) to track the putter and golf ball throughout the impact zone of either a right handed or left handed player. The system automatically measures over 45 parameters regarding the putter and ball, both graphically and numerically. The data is instantly displayed within the software for immediate analysis, review and intervention.

CApto

To help understand what different undulations on a green have to a player’s stroke, Capto is used when outside on the green. Capto is equipped with nine measurement sensors and five calibration sensors. Vital information is gathered through the device especially for acceleration profiles of the stroke, helping us to make the significant changes needed for improving speed management on the greens. Capto is equipped with a powerful calculation processor that performs on-board processing of the most significant quantities and the first step of the sensor-fusion algorithm.
